Having an early interest in acting, he broke the ice by attending cattle calls for such films as Free Willy and appearing every Saturday morning on his local Fox channel reporting various news stories.
By the beginning of 2016, Keith had no thought of even being an actor. It wasn't until after a fellow co-worker, who happened to be an actor, brought him on the set of a feature film where he fell in love with the whole world. By that March he was already gaining experience running slate, boom, lights, and any other crew work he could help out with, which eventually led to over a half dozen credits in extra work. After filling many background roles, he was given the opportunity to move on into stunt work, speaking roles, and finally the lead role in the short film Erebus, which is still having a successful festival run.
Throughout 2016-2019, Keith continued with several small roles in different shorts and features and even had his hand in the True-Crime genre on Network Television. He can be seen playing Matthew Bonner on the episode "Officer Down" on A&E's Cold Case Files, the lead character Joey McStay on the episode "Shallow Grave" for People Magazine investigates on Investigation Discovery, and Vance Tibbets on the episode "Murders in Maine" for Buried in the Backyard on the Oxygen Network. He also began doing commercial/print work locally in Phoenix and nationwide.
While taking some time off in 2019 for some health issues, Keith started a podcast with his best friend of 25+ years called “The Bogcast” which features various inspiring guests from all over the world. You can find it at youtube.com/thebogcast or anywhere you find your podcast apps including Spotify, Itunes, Google Play Music, etc.
During this time, he also began writing a Pilot script called “The Soundguy”, with every intention of making it his Directorial debut. He had been on over 100 Film Production sets at this point, from student films to HBO’s Westworld, and decided to take all those learning experiences and go behind the camera.
After over 2 years of writing, some intense Pre-Production, and raising over $15,000, they started shooting the project in early October of 2021 and finished principal photography in mid-January 2022. As of March 2022, they are currently in Post Production, with the project being ready for Film Festival and Pitch Meetings in the Summer.
